The Dora Butterfly Necklace and Earring Set

The Dora Necklace and Earring Set is named for Dora Pejacevic, the Croatian composer who wrote Papillion (Butterfly) as a piano piece at the age of 12.  The piece, delicate and lyrical, inspired this set.  These hand-made pieces merge elegance with natural elements, using faceted agates in lofting hues of creams, sable and misty greys. This set also features gorgeous, deep burgundy Garnet stones, mocha colored Preciosa crystals and two wing-shaped wooden beads that mimic the "eye" often found on butterfly wings.  The whimsical Howlite butterfly pendant is framed by two Garnet stones.  The earrings echo the wood motif in the necklace with wooden rondelles separating a faceted agate and Preciosa crystal for a cohesive look. Agate is a stone of emotional balance while Garnet evokes passion and creativity.
