The Cathay Necklace pays tribute to Cathay Williams, the first African-American woman to enlist in the Army and the only documented female Buffalo Soldier. Beginning her service in a support capacity during the Civil War, she is now celebrated as a pioneer in American military history. Featuring fatigue-colored Dragon Bloodstone that symbolizes strength, courage, and resilience, the necklace also incorporates Pyrite to shield against negative energy. Soft, luminous shell disks add an elegant, refined detail to the design. A carnation-pink pendant provides a striking centerpiece, complementing FreeBirdās distinctive four-feather detail.
