The Caterina Pendant Necklace and Earring Set

The Caterina Pendant Necklace and Earring set is inspired by Caterina Sforza, an Italian woman who stormed the fortress of Castel Sant'Angelo in effort to secure it--adorned in a satin dress and a velvet hat.  The necklace expresses both hue and texture; the blue quenelle-shaped ceramic beads have faint yellow and green tints, flanked by silver spacer beads reminiscent of a Queen's crown. The royal blue agate ovals are just transparent enough to see lovely, subtle veining. The piece is finished toward the back with round Druze agate beads. The standout feature is an ornate pendant made of a royal blue ceramic bead and decorative tassel, accented by two cherry-red glass beads and spunky spikes that are repeated throughout. The earring are spiral, fluted tubes featuring round lapis lazuli beads and a spike on each ear flanked by two small, silver beads. 
Druze agate properties include balance and stability while Lapis Lazuli evokes wisdom and truth seeking.
