The Calypso Bib Necklace and Earring Set

The Calypso Necklace and Earring Set is inspired by Calypso, the island dwelling Greek nymph in Homer's "Odyssey". She promised the brilliant Odysseus immortality if he stayed with her but her love was unreturned and Odysseus left the island to return to his wife. Calypso's island life is reflected in this set, created with stunning orange-pink coral beads, three slabs of Imperial Jasper and teardrop-shaped (a slight nod to her heartbreak) glass beads that mirror the color of the coral and the pattern of the Jasper. The earrings recall the teardrop shape which frame the glass beads used in the necklace. 
Coral is often associated with the Sacral and Root chakras governing physical strength and represents passion and courage while Imperial Jasper promotes stability.
