The Lauren Ribbon Necklace

Named for Lauren Bacall, Lauren takes its cue from her knowing sensuality and unmistakable, smoky voice. Smoky-purple facets lend a darker register to pale champagne tones, while a sculptural vintage ribbon pairs fluid curves with sharply drawn edges. It is glamour with intelligence and a little edge.

The vintage gold-tone ribbon brooch, signed BSK, gathers into a loose, dimensional knot before unfolding into long, angled ribbons. Fine ribbing follows their movement, catching light along the folds, while smooth borders give each curve definition. There is something of beautifully draped tailoring in its construction: supple in appearance, deliberate in line.

Along the strand, larger champagne-hued facets alternate with smaller smoky-purple Preciosa crystals and gold-tone rondelles.
