The Miriam Necklace and Earring Set

The Miriam Necklace and Earring set is named for contemporary piano composer Miriam Hyde, whose piece Dragonflies is (to my ears) a quirky, lyrical piece that evokes the frantic and agile movements of this remarkable creature.  

Hyde was known as a synesthete, someone who perceives music in color. As such, I was inspired by a harmonious blend of warm amber and deep jeweled tones. The Miriam set showcases luminous citrine, striking agate slabs, and faceted amethyst paired with delicate Czech glass and gold spiked accents, finished in 18K gold-plated sterling silver. Graceful dragonfly motifs introduce refined whimsy to this richly layered collection, balancing understated elegance with sumptuous natural stone work.
